Box and catalog spread design for the Pure Romance Uptown collection. This collection is all about areas in New York City. For the box design I chose monuments and historic buildings in the areas highlighted by the collection. The adult toys in Uptown are called Tribecca, Manhatten, SoHo and Park Avenue.
The box design was not only inspired by locations, but it was also inspired by grunge art found in New York. I chose a torn paper design esthetic to replicate the feeling of flyers and posters piled on top of each other on city street polls and walls.
